What is the best way to upgrade the portal from 1.0.2 to 1.0.6
Is there a way to do it or should I upgrade version by version 3,4,5, then 6
upgrade 1.0.2 to 1.0.6

You will have to update from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3 and then from 1.0.3 to 1.0.6. The instructions are inside the contrib directory of the download package.
