Re: Black Smoke Style
Thats the problem. if it look good in IE7 its a crap in FF and IE8.
I just cant found any errors in that code... w3c didnt even found one
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http% ... 4#line-253
EDIT: What i can say at this point: This Style is much different from prosilver but our blocktemplates are based on prosilver. (respectively subsilver2)
I tryed out several ways now, and the only way to make it fit in all browsers and have the same look like the board is to change all(!!) the Blocks and adapt them to this Style... But this is a major task for what i have no time... The next ist, that this Style isnt even for phpBB 3.0.5 but 3.0.4 :/
The next time phpBB 3.0.6 will be released and so this Style is very outdated... I think it's not worth the effort.
Sorry to say this buddy... I would rather give you a snippet, but i didnt have one...

Re: Black Smoke Style
Is it possible to adjust the width/make the center blocks wider only?
My portal seems to not be as wide as most of yours.

http://118.210.34.250/Forums/ If you compare it to the solid-gaming website or your test setup(area 51) Mike, You'll notice the blocks are abit smaller. The blocks are set to 180 and everything as it should be and is the same as yours I believe.
Any ideas?

Re: Black Smoke Style
I changed the bloc config to yours, still nothing so I decided to also use your overall_header.html but it had your url hardcoded into where the index, etc links where such as
Where/what is the error in it?
So I changed that to what it should be, It was still a rather large mess so I changed back to my original overall_header.html<a href="http://area51.mikevil.de/styles/BlackSm ... _SEARCH%7D" title="{L_SEARCH_ADV_EXPLAIN}">{L_SEARCH_ADV}</a> {S_SEARCH_HIDDEN_FIELDS}
Where/what is the error in it?

Re: Black Smoke Style
@Jaz: Sorry for that wrong Link. I was in a hurry and paste the wrong clipboard
Now i correctet the link to the overall_header.html you should use.
Yoe asked whats wrong with your Header: Your Footer is crashed, but its caused by the Header. I think it will fix your problem with the outer Blocks too... If not, tell me
@=TQC=Chief:
You noticed the yellow sign at the bottom of the header in the board? If you click on it, an infobar appears on top of the page.
I switched it off in Portal, since it doesnt look really nice with this yellow triangle. You can completey delete the following lines at the bottom of your overall_header.html and see if the blue line is flickering again...
If the blue bar now is flickering into the whole board, you should include this rectangle anywhere on your portal or remove the complete coder for it from the Header... but dont ask me how... in not familiar with javascript
