i have a problem with the .htaccess file. i don't have a .htaccess uploaded to my host. is it possible to create a new .htaccess file?
if so what are the additional stuff that i need to put in?

How do i put the forum inside the portal thought site?
How do i add more custom blocks and assign the position and side?
