How to get subforums onto the News section

I tried adding forum ID's but it didn't work my forum only contains subforums. all the others are Categories
for example Movies(this is a Category) --- > English Movies(Subforum 1)
|----> Hindi Movies(Subforum 2)

Please someone help me to add these sunforums to the News section of my Portal

Hm, subforums are displayed (as long as the correct forum ID is entered ...)

Did you seperate them with a comma (i.e. 30,35,50,65)?

just enter in forum that you want to include and see in your browser.. something like this...
viewforum.php?f=10 10 is our forum ID.

Thank you very mush japagun, But now im facing another problem, i need to add some forums to my Global Announcements section ,as u mentioned i got the forum and i added it in to the section which asks for the forum ids in Global Announcements settings section. But it didn't work Global Announcements shows up nothing, please can you figure this out.

therefor my forum ID is 45.

And what is your exactly Problem. Like Thomas already said, normaly subforums are displayed...

If you dont enter any numbers, it should display all Announcements in there (given that you have any)

Oshadha when you make a Global Announcements you have to set in post in check box above save preview submint buttons to see in portal

I put the right forum ID and I'm 100% sure about it, but it only displays the bar no announcements at all, also the same when I put nothing to the forum ID field, I cant give you a forum link because it's in my local machine I'm still setting up my portal (still didn't host it).

Check your board, if you have announcements, and if they are not older than you have entered in the settings.

EDIT: I edid your Posting since the Image Tag dont work with php files.
And now i can see that you have disabled "display global announcement".

Thats the same as you complain about darkness, but dont switch the light on...

And if you set "number of days to display the announcement" to 4 days, then your announcements has to be younger than that.
