You will always have to do the subsilver2 changes for AcidTech. The following instructions were made for AcidTechTiger, but they should also work for any other version of AcidTech: http://www.board3-styles.de/downloads.p ... l&df_id=24

In fact, they do. The navbar and some parts like the time info are removed in order to maintain a cleaner look for the portal. I think you probably don't need to be informed that you are on the portal while viewing the portal. Also the user menu has pretty much everything the navbar has.
