Hi, I have the latest global announcement heading on my portal but how do I actually post a global announcent, I have set the permissions appropriatly (I believe)but just cant see where you actually post, sorry i am guessing this is going to be a very simple answer but just cant see it.

You have to add the proper permission first, then you will be able to see this when you post,

I dont get that option when I post so obviously have not set permissions properly, any pointers as to what I might have missed.

you have to set the user's forum permission for that.
