Latest News showing +1 reply when there are no replies

What have you done before the problem was there?
Recent portal update to 2.1.0-rc2
Was showing 0 replies when a new topic was posted

What have you already tryed to solve the problem?
Now it is showing one reply when there is just the first post.

Description and Message
With the "Latest News" Portal module, the reply count is counting the initial post now and showing 1 reply when it should be "0".

Any ideas on how to fix the replies count to zero when there are no replies?

I presume its just the -1,-1 to change in portal/fetch_posts.php?
