Description and Message
I am looking at doing the portal addon to my forum.
The main reason for this is so that I can have a few blocks that are add's to members own sites.
I would like a square block about the size of the clock to have their logo that links to their sites.
Can this be done?

Re: Placing Add's In A Custom Block
You can add as many custom blocks as you want to the portal. You can choose if you want to use HTML or BBCode.

Thanks for the reply Marc, but not very helpful.Marc wrote:You can add as many custom blocks as you want to the portal. You can choose if you want to use HTML or BBCode.
Can you (or anybody) point me towards a walk through or explain to me in easy terms what to do.
I did follow the instructions I found somewhere to create a new html file and put some code in it but that didnt work.

Re: Placing Add's In A Custom Block
Those instructions are probably for Board3 Portal 1.0.x.
In 2.0.0 you only have to go to the ACP and click "Add module" below the area you want to put your custom block. Then choose a custom block and add it. After 3 seconds (I believe it was 3 seconds) it'll redirect you to the custom block settings. There you can enter everything you want. Afterwards just click on "submit" and your custom block should show up on the portal. You can then move it to the place you want to have it in the ACP.

No, it has already been there in 2.0.0b1 but it's new in the 2.0.x versions of the portal.
