heya guys,

been a long time ...
been pretty bussy on the Uni and my new job, so rushing from one to another place.
i dont know if i can maintain this mod any longer.

For some quick questions:

yes its possible to let guest post, i dont recommend it, but it is possible, i believe inside the code is written how,
and a few posts up should it be noted too.

The mod was release for versions 1.3 and 1.4 of board3. never had the change to make it for 1.5,
let it out of the question for 1.6.

Maybe i will port these mods to the newest board3 but need to reconfigure everything again

Thanks for the update Dr. Nick.

I am running your application form on phpbb 3.0.7-PL1 and portal 1.0.6 and it still works as good as it ever did. The only future request I have if you ever get time, would be to add drop down menu and radio button selections to the forms.

In case anyone out there was wondering, I am using the application form and topic prefix mod together so when someone posts a new application, it automatically puts a "[Pending Review]" prefix on it. I then can review the application and choose an "[Accepted]" or "[Denied]" prefix on it.

Due to hardware failure and a slightly miss configuration my server is this time un-reachable.

Has anybody got this working with phpbb 3.0.8 and portal 1.0.6?

I've installed it but when I activate it and browse to the application.php file, the questions that I've added in the ACP don't show, only the submit and reset buttons.

I'm not a php master so cannot work it out I'm afraid.

I had the same problem, have you marked the following options?

Display entire block of required questions?:
This will enable the first 20 required questions from your application form

and

Display entire block of optional questions?:
This will enable the last 10 optional questions for your application form

It solved my problem.

I'm having an issue as well, when I go to mywebsite/foro/application.php it shows all the question, but also shows things like

Is there any thing for don't show it?

Edit to my last post - sorted the display width by using the changes HERE and reducing the width in applicationform.html to 500 pixels.

i cant seem to get this mod working with newest board3 portal and phpbb3.0.8. anyone know how to fix it ?

ok so its been a while since anyone posted here. i'm wondering if anyone has this modifaction backup somewhere as i really loved this one and i seemed to have lost my backup of it.

i've tried downloading it from http://www.phpbbfiles.com/files/phpbb3/ ... 3.1.2b.zip but it keeps refusing access. it would be greatly appreciated if this was reupped and then i can work on getting it updated to work with more recent versions of board3 and phpbb.

At this time i don't have a backup present.
the old server it was running on is now located at my work,
where i will not be comming for the next 4 weeks at least.
(setup doesn't allow it to be remotely accessed when its powered on atm)
i can see what i can do for you if i have some spare time.
