Raid Progress Block w/ACP

So I have stopped playing WoW, and i doubt I will be re upping ever again. That said I will continue to update my mods, no worries there. I can get all the info I need from wowhead without needed to be in game at all.

In the coming days I will be fleshing out the next update to the Raid Progress Block. This will include any bug fixes you have brought to my attention, the new Icecrown raid and bosses, and an option in the ACP to turn off the Version checker, I know some people have issues with the way it works with there webhosts. Of course the next version will include an easy to use upgrader to make your upgrade... well easy.

So watch this thread for an update soon.

ya so many people I know are like "i'm never re upping, i'm done" 6 months later there back. But in my case I leave for an army base for the next 10 months so I doubt I'll be playing much. On top of that there's SW:ToR coming out next year... mmmmmm so much goodness right there.

Icecrown raid / bosses added
version check switch added

Update to 3.0.6 for some reason, states the code for linking the images in functions is conflicting...

It is probably a false positive. To be sure I will double check things today and upgrade to the newest phpbb on my test site to make sure the new version of the block function's with no problems. Thanks for pointing this out.

with the 3.0.6 update it seems they have changed

{$phpbb_root_path}

to

{$web_path}

and a couple other things.

So the next version of the mod will be changed to run under phpbb v3.0.6 (previous version of my mod will not be updated) and you will need to update your site's to phpbb 3.0.6 before you use the new version of the raid progress block.

- Added Version Checking disabler in ACP
- Added Icecrown Citadel Raid & Bosses
- Changed the Install file
(removed an edit, making it even easier to install)
- Improved the template files
(Should decrease load time)

Note: Since Blizzard has said icecrown will be the last raid until the new xpac. there will probably be little to no updates done on this mod. Never fear, when we start seeing info about raids for the Cataclysm xpac I will be rebuilding this fresh to include all the new raids at that time.

So feel free to continue providing any Suggestion and/or bugs you may find. You guys have helped make this mod what it is today.

Hey there, I've been following this mod from the old portal system to the new (lovely!) one, however in upgrading the portal system I can't seem to get the Raid Progress Block to work.

I've followed all the installs to the letter, and despite my best efforts it wont show. I have however gotten other blocks to work (eg, recruitment) but just not yours. It shows up on the ACP fine, and all the settings are present and correct however on the front page it never shows the actual list, just a heading.

First off may i say how good your mod is. It is exactly what i have been looking for - in fact it was what promted me to install Board3 in the first place. The installation is perfect and very easy to manage. The results are great.

Here's a strange issue though - Using Firefox - latest build:
If i purge my cache in ACP then go back to my portal the mod works perfectly.
If i then switch to subsilver2 i get no icons and no ticks or crosses in the popup detail.
If i THEN switch back to prosilver i get no icons and no ticks or crosses in the popup detail unless i purge the cache again.

I am using the latest vesrion of the wowhead tooltiops mod from here if that makes any difference?

I have also refreshed my templates, themes and imagesets.

Any help would be appreciated - can't wait to go live with this

Edit : this happens when i switch to any style. No icons, no ticks or crosses in popup detail.
Edit 2: Just tried the site in internet Explorer 8 and i see that there are the red cross boxes where the icons should be indicating a broken picture link.

I got the same problem like Unrak. Looks like, when phpBB is starting a new session, it adds the session-id to the image-source. It looks like this:

After a refresh, or when a session is already running, everything works fine.
