What have you done before the problem was there? I installed portal3 on my server.
What have you already tryed to solve the problem? I have tried removing portal3 and reinstalling and I still come up with the same issue.
I have temporarily disabled the portal from my site by renaming it to portaltemp.php. This is sending everyone who goes to my site directly from the http://www.disciplesofredemption.net to the forums. This is an ok fix for now but I would like to fix the issue soon.
Description and Message Hello,
I am having an issue with my ACP that the portal tab on the top line is not showing up. I have tried everything that I can think of to get it to work but I am not able to get access to the tab to control my Portal via the APC. In addition to that my portal seems to be a mixture of phpbb and portal3 but I can not figure out how to change the settings on most of the blocks in the portal since I do not have a way of changing them in my APC. Also I can not "Purge the cache" via the general tab of the ACP as it is not one of the options shown on the screen for me. Any thoughts on what I can do?
I am linking thumbnails of the APC and will link whatever else is needed.
If I can not get this issue fixed I think I might just go back to phpbb and figure it out from there. But I would really like to have board3 instead since there are more options via this.

I have a similar problem.
After a few days with portal installed, now I cannot see the tabs for portal config., but the portal is working and I can see the portal in System/ACP/Add mods.
