Then I've obviously I missed something. Where does it call "language/en/mods/lang_portal_acp_logs.ph_" and what did I miss that needs to be fixed so I can delete it. ?

I've gotten past the initial "Please Delete" these files and now get

General Error
Language file ./../language/en/mods/lang_portal_acp_logs.php couldn't be opened.

Sorry to flood yu with these step by steps, but I figure this may help others.

OK, so I reloaded "./../language/en/mods/lang_portal ...

Got it and got passed the error.

Now I get another message on the Update Process, this is where I ran into troule last time :)

I'm working on the update to 1.0.4 and plan to to uninstall what I have start a new..

Humm, I have Board3 portal installed and they don't exist on mine either :<(

One last question.

I use SubSilver2 and the instructions for it reference lines that do not exist in the SubSilver2 template.

i.e.

././overall_header.htm_

Find :: <!-- IF not $S_IN_PORTAL or not S_DISPLAY_MAINMENU -->

Using a freshly downloaded copy from phpbb, these lines don't exist in ...

I believe I figured it out ?

Please clarify for me, I looked at the files after I was able to restore the Portal, I noticed that my ACP showed me as using portal 1.0.3, but its not as it did crash and I re-loaded my BU files (1.0.2). So i decided to go back to the update 1.0.2 to 1.0.3 files again and double check ...

Oh, I agree on the gif issue, surprised the heck out of me that that would happen from that. But I also thought it was strange that the updater said the gif's were a security issue

That fixed it. Maybe a bad installer in the package I DL'd ?

Curious why it worked on my first board but not on the 2nd.

I'll do a little digging and see if I can figure out why. I'll post back what I find, if anything.
