I followed the instructions, copyed all the files, changed in all the files needed and thought I was good to go...

But the address http://www.idzen.dk/phpBB3/install_portal/install.php doesn't really seem to work.

Can anyone help me? Please, I would really like this to work...

Well, I'm pretty new to phpBB so, i've practically just installed the system, so i don't know.
It's based on phpBB - that's all I know

Sorry to sound stressed, but isn't there anyone who knows what I can do - cause nothing of course works at the moment, and I would really want this to work

He dosn't seems to have any forums. Actually, it's seems to me like a blog and it's powered by Wordpress. I don't think it's based on php. Therefore u can't install the php-portal on system that not recognize PHP.

yeah, but the portal is supposed to be installed on the subdomain www.idzen.dk/phpBB3 which is a phpBB forum, but at the moment it can't be seen, 'cause the portal isn't installed, and it's there i need the help

did you have the phpBB3-Forum running before you tried to install the portal?

to the root of the subdomain /phpBB3

Thomas.d: yes, it worked. I didn't use it with users, since this is only a testrun before the real deal, but it worked perfectly

I would suggest to delete all portal-related files from your server and see wether or not you can run the forum again.

Am I right that the portal installer didn't run successfully? So there are no changes in your database?

I deleted all the files from the portal, though I didn't change all the files back that have been changed in, but there's still only a white page when I try to enter the page (www.idzen.dk/phpBB3)

Of course you need to reverse the edits on phpBB-Files that have been edited in order to install the portal!

If you don't have mods installed yet, just upload the appropriate phpBB-files from the phpBB3-download.

Now the forum is up and running again...
should I just start over again with the instructions for installing the portal, or is there another way of doing it, that's easier (and works better )

You may have done one of the edits wrong I.E where it said "add before" you "added after" and as your webserver seems to have error display turned off just returned a white page.
