Last youtube video linked in the forum - Block

Hi,
I was wondering if it would be feysible to habe a custom block who is just a youtube video and it gets the Video ID from the last post in any forum which was posted as youtube BBCode embed, i.e., [youtube]ID[/youtube]? Maybe with a link to the respective topic below?
On a sidenote, it might be nice to split the Mod Request Forum into 2.0.0 and 1.0.6 Sections since the Modules/Blocks are completely different concepts in the two versions?
