The problem has been there since Board3 install.

What have you already tryed to solve the problem?
Looked for some config options in ACP

Description and Message
My Recent Topic block only lists the recent topics
and not recent announcements or popular topics
like the front page of this board has.
I don't see any options on it.
Did I miss something?

Maybe because there are no "hot topics" or "announcements" ?

How are "hot topics" quantified or calculated ?
Announcements are posted by admins, aren't they ?

You can mark a topic an announcement or sticky when you create it or edit the first post.

Popular topics are marked as popular once they exceeded a certain number of views or posts.
