Hi fellas.

I as well, would like to have CA_Black for Board 3 Portal. I have it running, but the portal boxes dont look right at all and the forum header and footer doesnt look right. The templates' overall_header.html and overall_footer.html files seem to miss some of the required content code, to know where to add the portal board 3 code.

Is it not possible for anyone to provide the two files needed as a download, which are completed for ca_black's board 3 portal or even the whole ca black board 3 theme as a download, seeing as its on that website as a demo?

Thanks for that, but I already know about those links. That page seemed impossible to find earlier.. Ive been looking for weeks...

However they dont contain the ca_black "PORTAL" board 3 theme download. I dont understand why you dont offer the files as a download?

What you have given is a "demo" of the portal ( no download link ) and just a link to the "STANDARD" ca_black theme for standard phpbb3, not a complete portal board 3 theme for phpbb3 for CA black. Do you see what I mean?

Its useful putting the code changes, but why go to all that bother typing up all the changes without a zip with the files, if its already been done? Why not instead upload the changed files for it for everone to download instead....?

Also reading through the english code changes, they all appear to be all for ca_gen2 not ca_black. Can I assume they are the same? I have looked at the notes and can see there are still some missing / differences ....

For example, this part cannot be found :

There is only the instructions for installing the Portal Board3, because others have the style with modules and want to retrofit the Board3 portal only.

I will have a read of that and try it tomorrow when I have time and let you know if it helps.

When ive done it, ( if it works ) I will upload the 2 files or paste all the code just for the two main body files, so that everyone can just copy the code, without having to do all the changes.

Very happy so far, however the only thing I cant get to work, is the main "welcome" message to show in the ca black template for the portal. It shows in the prosilver one, so im just wondering if there is something either I have missed or broke.. lol .. or if there is something been missed elsewhere ? :S It is enabled and like I say, shows in the pro-silver.

Everything else is perfect.

Any thoughts?

I was thinking of upgrading from Board3 1.05 to Board3 1.06, do you happen to know if the same rules apply for installing the ca_black theme for board3 1.06 ? I just would like to know if the header and footer body's have been changed a lot ?

Any help would be great.
