What have you already tryed to solve the problem?
Alot, followed all steps to the letter and it just wont work. Will not install, wont even bring up the install.

Description and Message
I try to install the 'Board 3' to my home WAMP server and it just plain doesnt work. I installed bb3, then followed all the steps to a 'T' and still no dice.

I done it many times, many different ways and always a no-go.

Is there a pre-built version that you have with Board3 and bb3? I am a web designer and web builder for my profession and i am trying to get this going for a client so any help would be appreciated.

I assume, phpBB3 works, could you explain what you mean with "wont even bring up the install"? If your phpBB3 board is at localhost, you will have to browse to localhost/install/index.php in order to start the installer. With what editor did you edit the files? Have you tried turning debug mode on in your config.php?

i do all the modifications and goto install and when i goto the directory it keeps redirecting me to site.com/install/install/index.php
