Screwed the thing up to the oint of FUBAR!

Description and Message
I have TWO of all side bars.......

I have tried to uninstall, and now even if I turn portal off, ONE SET of sidebars still show up. Also the VERSION Checker says the portal is ut of date since uninstall and reinstall, even though the MODs shows the proper version number

I need a hand Marc!

Could this be caused from the MOD for showing the portal on ALL pages?

As far as I know, the portalview MOD will not work with Board3 Portal 1.0.5.

then why is the portal showing on the pages after you go to the board index?

Could you see why everythng is showing up twice?

I know why it is showing up twice, but I'll have to look for a bugfix for this.

The removal of the portalview killed the duplicate or DOUBLE sidebars.

Now the only issue I have is that the "portal is not up to date" message will not go away.
And when in the MODs section of the ACP where the description fields are at, it shows:

Current Version =
Latest Version = 1.0.5
Any clue what is missing that has caused it NOT to show the current version?

I uninstalled, and reinstalled and it did that, it also deleted some custom links in the link blocks too....

Open your phpmyadmin and take a look at the phpbb_portal_config table. Look for the config_name portal_version and check if it is set to 1.0.5.

How do I see that in the mysql? I mean I see the line, but when I go to edit it, or look at it on a single line, I am not sure if I see the right option.

Can you screenshot that for m, so I know exactly what it should look like?

Click on the pen in front of portal_version and it should show you the values.

I do not have that line...

I have one that says Portal_Version_Check

But not the other...

Did the installer finish correctly after the update? If not, just add that line:
config_name = portal_version
config_value = 1.0.5

I'm having this problem, and would like to continue to use Portalview, a resolution would be very appreciated!

Just like the individual before, the portal shows fine on all other pages, but the portal page has double of the side bars.

You can not use portal view with the new version, and you need to reverse the installation steps to remove it from your forum. I have PMd the author and asked for an update, but I have not recived a reply as yet.

The issue of the out of date version check is not related to the double sidebar views.
