How can i add NV Recent Topics mod on center block

What have you done before the problem was there?
i did this modifications --> viewtopic.php?f=21&t=791
What have you already tryed to solve the problem?

i tried to do this modifications but i guess this is for old versions cause i couldn't find some code in "acp_recenttopics.php" and of course it didnt work.
So how can i add NV Recent Topics mod on center block?
