Review in home

Hi, I have a site with phpbb3 forum 3.0.9 with mod Board3 Portal 1.0.6
The site is "Hardware Tweakers", in the past I used phpnuke but it was so messy that it was personal and impossible to update and manage (the forum was phpbb2).
I would be fine if only one page html or php (then I'll put it in at home with an include file in the portal) that takes data from a separate section of the forums (if you go on my site at the bottom of the home you see a list with all the reviews that refer to the topic in the forum) allowing you to display an icon or image, a preview of a few lines on the review and that, by clicking on it, do not open the topic in the forum but opens a page in the portal with review divided by pages.
In practice I would do what all professionals (Tom's Hardware, Next Hardware, Hardware Upgrade, etc.) ... only they have the professionals to turn to for these things ... I am an ignorant incapable ... this type of mods are out of my league.
p.s. I do not know English well and I used google translate.
