Board3

hey, i'm looking for some block for world of warcraft, such as : Recruit block or raid block. somebody got something like that? or can i use the block from phpbb3portal?

I would like to know this too. At phpbb3portal, there is a mod that does this, but I don't like their portal nearly as much as I like Board III. Is there anyway to get this for this portal?

I'm the author of the blocks your looking for over at the phpbb3portal site since the board3 portal is based (basically wholesale) from the phpbb3portal. I 'm sure I could write a port of those blocks for use here if there's enough interest.

Would require me getting another test site up with board3 portal installed first though, and of course some free time.

i've already started to port over ur warcraft scripts to board3 teksonic and tbh like board3 says its based on the orignal phpbbportal so really theres not a huge diffrence so it shouldn't be all that hard to port ALL of them over
upto now i've done your recent loots block and also sheepy's recruitment block just not remembered how i done it to post them here for you

also i really hope once u get them ported over that u continue on with the great work you was doing over on phpbbportal

surprisingly it seems i will have more time for coding in the next couple weeks. so i'll probably get that test site running and start the process.

I am very interested in these as well.

I have been making some attempts to convert the ones from phpbb3portal, but my coding skills are lacking.

In my attempts, all portal blocks on my page magnify.. become huge.. and my mods tab in the ACP ends up displaying nothing at all.

In the face of defeat, I end up putting the original files back in.

you can use the bbdkp portal blocks in board3 without too much hassle.

i'll write up a guide for this.

bbDKP is very good, I can say that with confidence as I use to help write it, and i'm sure the current version under the new Dev team is great.. It does have a lot more features then some guilds need, specifically the dkp portion which basically drives all the other features throughout it. But none the less it's very good.

Sry forgot to mention, I will be working more on converting some things over and continuing a project (Guild Recruitment Form) that I started for phpbb3portal soon. there is still no eta on anything as of yet. but I will keep you apprised of any news.

That would be great, I have been trying to figure out how to get ANY recruitment/boss progress block to work for the past week with no luck.
\I used to run a phpbb3 portal page and I used Sheepy's recruitment status block and it worked great. If either teksonic comes up with something or sajaki posts a guide I would be extremely happy
