how do i get an analouge clock instead of the digi one ?

You can download several flash clocks from here, for example:

You only have to rename the swf file and upload it into root/portal/images/.

The name of the file has to be clock.swf

Additionally you may have to edit /styles/*your_style*/template/portal/block/clock.html with the appropriate "width"- and "height"-attributes.

me also put analog clock at my phpbb3 portal
what i do is only edit .../styles/styles_name/template/portal/block/clock.html

replace current code for clock to new html code
i get my flash clock from here -> http://www.worldtimeserver.com/clocks/
also you can google for site that offer free html/java code for clock

if you don't want your clock from external link, maybe if that website going down, your clock also not appear, so you can replace clock.swf in ..../root/portal/images/clock.swf

I am looking for one that does not have a gaudy look about it ... I dont like the big bold side walls on them and if anyone knows where I can get one that is clean and simple could they please post a link to it thanks.

Thanks for that link PeterS as I managed to find a clock there that suits my theme perfectly and that is not easy to do.
