Board3

Hi all

It's been many years since I played with phpBB, and having recently downloaded the latest version 3.3.9, I found it had vastly changed since I had last used it.

With some playing around I managed to get my favourite module working phpbb gallery, and then I tried to install my second favourite module Board3 Portal. I downloaded from here the latest English version, followed your fix for 3.3.7 and then the fix for 3.3.9, but am running into issues, see attached images.

The module appears to install correctly, but after completion I get the message in image 2 on the customise section, if I go to manage extension I get the following in image 3. My forum index page seems unaffected, but the portal page is reporting as missing, should this be in ext/board3/portal/ or should it be in the root directory of the site.

Any help would be appreciated to help get this wonderful mod working, keep up the good work.

Try this, dropped all the images into a folder, if it works you should see al 5 images.

There is an adapted version for 3.3, see link in my signature.
This change must be made additionally!

I had already made the changes, do I now download the file from your link and upload those files instead.

I replaced the files in ext/board3/portal with the modified ones from your link and it now appears to be working, going to give it alla try now.

First thanks for Kirk's help, sorted some of the issues, but not all.

Following Kirks recommendations I now seems to have got the issues in images 2 to 4 sorted. What's happening now is portal is now available in ACP, and configurable, no issues. on my index.php page there is now a button for the portal page, but when I now press on the portal button instead of it reporting the page does not exist I know get the errors in image 6 in the link below, the photo does not show all the errors, as it scrolled down the page for quite some way.

Foot note to this, I only have 2 styles installed one is prosilver the other is a dark theme called proDVGFX, the error mentioned above is only occurring on the prosilver style, not the proDVGFX, seeing as I want this style as the default all seems to be working on this style.

Deactivate the portal (incl. delete data), delete the extension from the server. Then upload the adapted version and activate the portal.

Fixed now working on both styles, great stuff.
