Hello,

The portal itself works fine , but I can't administrate it as I can't find a Portal tab within the ACP.
The installation went fine , only I had some errors regarding portal in the ACP (that some files were missing).
I installed portal perfectly according to the documentation (including the style edits for subsilver and prosilver).

So anyone has a solution on this? And I can't say you the errors as I didn't save them.
But the errors are here somewhere in this forum as I searched on google for a solution regarding these errors.

I would like to know this as well. Can anyone help?

I used autoMOD, all of my mods that I try to use in the admin panel dont show.

I have reinstalled doing it via the install.xml, still nothing, I checked everything that the autoMOD did, and everything was done correctly already. So what now?

Did you run the installer? If this doesn't help there is obviously an issue with your phpBB installation.

Yes I ran the installer, I dont know how it could be with the install, I have reinstalled my phpbb3 board 3 times and still the admin module panel doesnt work right.

Did you give yourself the permissions to administer the Portal in the ACP?

How do I do that. Im new to PHPbb3 i used SMF before.

This explains it for a different MOD but the portal permissions are in the same tab:

You'll have to change the view from user permissions to administrator permissions in the drop-down list after you have selected the desired user group.

Hello all,

I am in the same boat here. I did a fresh install of phpbb, and portal 2.0. I used automod to install portal with no errors, and it does not show up on my forums, and I have no ".MODS" tab in the ACP. I tried using Marcs suggestion to change the permissions, but to no avail. Any further help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I think that what Marc is asking is if, after running automod, did you go to www.mysite.com/phpbb3/install/index.php in your browser to run the installer. I had the same issue that after running portal in automod, I though I was done. It turns out you need to point your browser to the index.php file to run the installer. Once you have that done you will see the ".Mods" & "Portal Modules" tabs in the ACP. Also, you will have to direct your browser to www.mysite.com/phpbb3/portal.php to see the portal. I hope this helps.
