Description and Message
Ok I am brand new to this and have managed to set up a forum here

http://homeandaway.ford3.myfastforum.org/index.php

I really want my site to look like the rest of yours with the home page and navigation to the forum and other gadgets but I am in over my head I think. How can I do this. Should I give up or is there a way to update my forum to look as good as you guys?

Hope someone can help me

Stephen

Have you tried to install the Portal at least? There is no portal.php nor anything else from portal on your board.
The download contains step by step instructions of what you have to do, to have a nice looking portal ;)

Yes I think so and this is where I started to think it wont be possible for me to do as it didnt work. It said I had to download then unzip the file but I then just get the message:

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Access is denied. Error processing resource 'file:///C:/Documents and Settings/ste/Local Settings/Temp/wzc20c/board3portal_...

I have no experience in this do you think its possible for me to do or is there any service where I can get it done for a fee?

Lets try again... unzip the Package, instead of opening the install from inside of the zip.
After you unzip it into a fresh folder, open the install.xml within this folder with Internet Explorer. If you installed the phpBB you have to read xml files too. So it should work with our install.xml too ;)

Read and understand the instructions... It is a step by step install guide. Copy the files to your board, and make the changes as described in the install.xml
which file you have to open for adding the code is standing above the codeblock. open: bla

I really love the board3 portal, I have seen it on so many sites but I cannot install it myself, I have tried but am not experienced enough myself. Is there any way someone can help me install it? I dont know what else to do.

Is there anyway I can donate in return for support?
