Install error

What have you done before the problem was there?
This is a clean install and havent fitted any other mods.I have tried this on a test board.

What have you already tryed to solve the problem?
Ive looked on the forums and found no help with this matter

Hi
While installing the portal i had this error

General Error
Language file ../language/en_us/mods/portal_install.php couldn't be opened

Well i know this actually isnt on my server as its not in that structure when you upload it so what is wrong ?

Also when i load up forums now i get this

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Table 'nifclan_phpb2.phpbb_portal_config' doesn't exist [1146]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

I uploaded all the files as i should,and followed the install instructions to the letter.

Language file ../language/en_us/mods/portal_install.php couldn't be opened

says clearly,that the file is actually not where it's supposed to be. This may help knowledge/kb_show.php?id=30

yes ive ran the installer ...

Ididnt realise the phpbb3 forum that was setup was english us by default

*Edit* Im a noob worked it out from what you said ..thanks and i have a running one now,i did clean install as its just a test one for me
