Updated to portal 2.1.0-rc2, cleared cache, purged sessions, added redirect after logon to portal

Hello all,

Weird one for me. It appears to be a portal issue as I cannot replicate it from the board index.

When logging on to the portal (the first time) users receive an internal 500 error. If they refresh the page they are logged on. If you log out and back in on the portal page, occasionally it works, occasionally it doesn't.

If you close/reopen the browser after logging out you get the 500 error, again just refreshing the page shows the user as logged in.

I've cleared cache and updated to 2.1.0-rc2 thinking it might have been a bug in rc1.

I've reset the logon redirect as it seemed to stop users from being able to register.

Any help is appreciated

That seems to be a phpBB bug. See related ticket in the phpBB bug tracker:

The issue is caused by phpBB itself and not by the portal. You'll have to wait for phpBB 3.1.4 for this to be fixed (should be merged into 3.1.4).
