When I install Gallery Block 1.4.1 it works, I see it in the .mod portal area. I can see the images on the portal page but after this install I get a blank page when going to the board index.

I uninstalled Gallery Block 1.4.1 and the index works again.

I did have to modify the install.xml /portal/block/additional_blocks.php

From;

if (!defined('IN_PORTAL'))
{
exit;
}

To;
if (!defined('IN_PHPBB') || !defined('IN_PORTAL'))
{
exit;
}

Other than that the install was perfect except that the board index no longer works afterward.

Any thoughts?

I recently updated both my portal and Nick Vergessens Gallery Mod to the latest versions and am somewhat disappointed that the previous version of the Gallery Block that I was using (1.2.3) is not compatible with the latest gallery and the new Gallery Block version does not offer the same functionality.
What I really liked about the older version was the ability to display images from from a particular album using the ID number and having it display randomly the pictures in that album on every refresh.
Presently I am using the recent images block but I don't really want that.
In addition by no longer using a custom made center block and taking the short cut of inserting a complete block from the gallery (example the recent_body.html) makes changing the style difficult. I'm using BF_Vista style and after making the necessary style changes in the gallery I can't get the styling to work in the Portal. You can see my dilemma here: http://www.lucianriders.com/forum

Has anyone been able to modify the code to get the center block to display random images from a single album? I'm hoping that someone here might have come up with something to do what the old version used to.

Also das istr ne tolle Sache, mein Problem ist nur, das bei mir
Einstellungen für den kleinen Block
und Einstellungen für den mittleren Block
keinerlei Wirkung zeigen (nicht sichtbar im Hauptportal sind).
Woran könnte das liegen ?
