Can't get Lefty's Announcement Centre to display in Portal

Just installed Board3

What have you already tryed to solve the problem?
Spent hours searching for answers at the Mods home at phpBB plus searching here as well.

Description and Message
I have Lefty's Announcement Centre working nicely on my forum but can't get it to display on the Portal page.
I have moved the Custom Center block down to the bottom in order to use my Shoutmix shoutbox. Other than that the page is standard.
I've searched through much of what is posted here and on the phpBB site as well: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... 9&t=981855
I would have though it was pretty straight forward by inserting the following code:

    <!-- INCLUDE announcement_centre.html -->

into the portal_body.html file. I have tried just about in every location I can think of with no luck.

Any help to get this to work would be great![/i]

Well I finally got this to work as I wanted...

I had to change the setting in the ACP "Show Announcements only on Index page:" to NO
That then allows the Announcement to show on all pages including the Portal, however I did not want that either. But by then adding the <!-- INCLUDE announcement_centre.html --> to the portal_body.html file and removing it from the overall_header.html file I got what I wanted...
