Additional Recent Topic block - can it be done?

Tried duplicating the recent topic files to see if an additional block would be displayed.

Hello there.

I am developing a site which will be using the Board3 portal, and I was wondering if the following was possible (and if so, how I could get it working):

I want to have the recent topics block on the portal page, but in addition, I want to have another block that displays the recent topics from a specific forum. I thought that it would be a simple case of duplicating the recent topic block and changing the relevant permissions, but that does not seem to work. Basically, the Recent Topics block will display new topics forum-wide, but I need an additional Recent Topic block that displays from one particular forum only. Is this possible?

I'm working on this site locally at the moment, and the client is desperate for some progress so that the site can be made live, so basically time is of the essence.
