Hi guys,

any time a new topic is posted it appears immediately in the forum index, but there is a long delay before the Board3 modules "News" and "Recent topics" display the new post.

Any ideas as to why there is such a long delay?

This is due to caching of the portal. The next version will have a shorter cache time of only 30 seconds which will prevent any such long delay while also reducing the load on larger sites.

Is there anything new about this?
I have the same issue.
Frequently, the caching time is quite high. There are some occasions that the time is almost instantaneous, but it happens very infrequently.
