Gallery

Is anyone using a gallery with portal 2.0, I have tried to install flying-bits gallery 2.1.1 but it will not work, stops with lots of errors. I will re-install and detail the errors if anyone wants me to, I just really want to know if others have installed it.

Hi Archivar,

I have a site that has been running for about a year, but I wanted a portal.

I installed the portal (2.0) which works great, I then tried to install gallery as above which gave me lots of errors and changed the look of the portal, I did not get as far as trying the block mod. my question was, has anyone else done this successfully.

Test website is now down !

I tried to install again but now get a blank page, I used automod to install, these are the errors I got on the way, last time I got to the board but with erros and the fonts were wrong.

You should not install AutoMod, but manually.
Support for the gallery to get the mod author. http://www.flying-bits.org/viewforum.php?f=101
We only give support for the portal.

OK thanks Archivar, I will wipe and reinstall. I will let you know how I get on.

I did the Manual install of the gallery which seems to be working fine, I have an extra tab called "ACP_CAT_MODS" which when clicked on gives a "general error Cannot find module ./../includes/acp/acp_mods.php" , it does not seem to affect the gallery or the site.
I also installed the b3p_gallery_block_2_1_1 which seems to be working as well.

Hi Folks

I have phpbb3 3.09
Board3 Portal 2.0.0b1
Gallery 1_1_4
Gallery Block 2_1_1

It is all working great but I am a little confused over how to use the blocks.

I want a side block that just shows a picture from a certain album, I can get one recent or random but they come from any public album.

I have seen code for a RRC which has album selection, but do not understand how to use it.

Can anyone help please
