Hermes Gray block issue.

Now I seem to be missing block borders and colors. Must have mucked up somewhere.

I've double checked and can't find my mistake. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You must copy the files subsilver2 portal.

First you need to download and install this Style. If it works, you can install the Portal for this Style as per description:
(please copy this files from our B3P download package)

copy: root/styles/subsilver2/template/portal/*.*
to: styles/hermes/template/portal/*.*
copy: root/styles/subsilver2/theme/images/portal/*.*
to: styles/hermes/theme/images/portal/*.*

You should read everything. Click on:

Step by Step Guide in [+] ENGLISH

open: styles/hermes/template/portal/_block_config.html
replace with: (click the link to get the code)
_block_config.html for Hermes / hermes_gray / hermes_green

Refresh your Styles:
"Administration Control Panel" (ACP) > "Styles" > "Templates" > each > "refresh"
"Administration Control Panel" (ACP) > "Styles" > "Themes" > each > "refresh"
"Administration Control Panel" (ACP) > "Styles" > "Imagesets" > each > "refresh"

Clear your cache in the "Administration Control Panel" (ACP) > "General" > "Purge the cache"

Thanks again, and I beg for your patience with me, I am new to phpbb and php.

I followed this english step by step install guide (and backed up original files before editing), including the _block_config.php

I then re-did the installation using the backed up files for editing and uploading, prior to making my first post here.

The only thing I cannot read there is the

DIY instructions: Knowledge Base: Changes to forums styles

which links to a topic in German.

Are you thinking I missed something along the way and should re-attempt installation following this guide again, or is there some important information in the DIY Instructions: Knowledge Base: Changes to forums styles that I'm missing because I can't read german?

In the guidance they need to click on:

----->[+] ENGLISH
The style of "Hermes" is based on subsilver2, so they need to upload the files subsilver2 portal for their style.

Thank you, but yes, I realize that I need to open the guide in ENGLISH. That is the guide I have been following.

Thank you for your efforts, I deleted the portal folders from templates and themes, then reuploaded and changed the _block_config.html and it is now working. Must have missed something along the way.
