What have you done before the problem was there?
I only installed Board 3 portal today, I used the standard Prosilver theme, and just wanted to get rid of the stock look by installing a optional theme to the style block.

What have you already tryed to solve the problem?
i haven't tried anything other than checking my install, and edited files.

Theme appears to narrow for portal.

Yes i tried that i had already posted.

If you select the Battlefield style from the dropdown, you can see what i mean.

#1The "latest News" area seems to small and sits over the icons.
#2The "poll" area displays no bars.

You have taken the prosilver files.
You have to take subsilver2 files from the portal.
This is also in the manual!

First you need to download and install this Style. If it works, you can install the Portal for this Style as per description:
From the B3P-download-package you must first perform the install.xml.

copy: root/styles/subsilver2/template/portal/*.*
to: styles/Bad_Company_2_v2/template/portal/*.*
copy: root/styles/subsilver2/theme/images/portal/*.*
to: styles/Bad_Company_2_v2/theme/images/portal/*.*
