What have you done before the problem was there?
By copying blocks from the left to the right column then disabling left column in the Portal Admin, I cannot get the copied block to show.
What have you already tryed to solve the problem?
Set leftColumn back ON in acp portal admin and
set var S_LEFT_COLUMN to "false" manually, in portal_body.html.
Description and Message
Would be nice to find out where the problem is, but callow nub here ... Please advise. Thank you.

I updated the instructions for moving blocks:

A bit down the page, you will find instructions on what you have to do when you are moving a block from one side column to the other one.
