Change skin via board3 in the UCP

Is there any way to change the skin in the UCP when you change it in the portal?

Could you elaborate a little bit more? I don't quite get what you mean.

I need to rephrase.

If I am usually in Skin7 and I login, I always get skin7. If I change it to skin3 on the portal, it changes in the UCP. But if I logout, it goes back to skin7. Cookie thing?

Could be completely wrong but i would have thought if you changed the skin you would need to maybe purge the cache so that it forces the new skin to load.

Let me try again. Forget Portal for the moment.

phpbb - default = skin1, my norm=skin7, my new skin=skin10

I go to the board, have skin1.
I login, have skin7
I logout, have skin1
I login, have skin7

While, I'm logged in, I change to skin10 and logout
Go back and login, I now have skin10 whenever I login.

Going back to portal.

Go to the portal, skin1
Login the portal, skin7
logout, skin1
login to the portal, skin7

While logged in, I change my skin to skin10 IN THE PORTAL. It changes my skin on the entire board including the UCP.
When I change my skin in the UCP, it will hold my choice. If I change my skin in the portal, it goes back to my old choice:

cont' from above.
Been browsing with skin 10
logout - have skin1
login - HAVE SKIN7

Why when I change the skin in the portal, it won't save my choice for next login?

As I said before, that is the normal phpBB behavior. The styleswitcher is just more or less a way of taking a look at a style, but it won't save your choice. That's what the UCP is for.
