Avatars and many other images not showing up

What have you done before the problem was there?
Purged cache, tried a different style, checked google.

What have you already tryed to solve the problem?

Hi guys,

this is strange, many images are not showing up on my forum (including captcha codes) and i belive it's only images that are stored on the server. Externally linked images like signatures show up just fine. Anyone care to take a look?

Oh and i'm also having the automatic log-in issue.

I'd say, check FTP chmods for the picture directories.

I've chmodded all the picture directories correctly. Still having the same problem. Would it have something to do in the configs? I mean I switched servers once, but then I switched back to the old server. Only thing I modified was the config.php obviously.

I too have tried so many options but i am not able to upload my avataar. it shows that the avatar is uploaded but actually it fails. I wonder what might mbe the reason. Do i have to do something with the setting in my profile or some settings are messed up in my computer.
