No Portal in nav bar and blank pages

What have you done before the problem was there?
Installed a fresh version of PhPbb onto the server then installed the portal

What have you already tryed to solve the problem?
Searched through the header html to see if there is a problem but i dont see any. All the suggested code changes had been changed before the installation was done.

Description and Message
After I ran the installation everything sempt to install correctly without any error messeges however when i entered the ACP and cleared the cache on the templates and on the main board I returned to the main forum board and i have no option in the nav bar at the top for the portal. Also when i refresh the page it doestnt root me to the portal as the home page and if i try to navigate there through my browser I just get a blank page. Please help.

I tried to re-install the portal and i now get this messege for the portal page not found.

This is a clear server message - the file does not exist.

This issue is solved thankyou, I had a database problem that rectified itself when i repaired the database. Thankyou.
