which one is the error?

Your Portal Version: 1.0.0RC3
Your phpBB Type: Standard phpBB3
MODs installed: No
Your knowledge: Beginner

What have you done before the problem was there?
edit all the files

What have you already tryed to solve the problem?
removed those lines but the result is i couldnt login to my admin panel.

Could you show us the code of your constants.php? You probably did not do the edit exactly as stated in the install.xml

hi there marc

i have edited it again and got another error. this time its the mysql prob. how do i do this?


SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Table 'mysite_phpb1.phpbb_portal_config' doesn't exist [1146]

Did you run the installer as stated in the install.xml?

hi marc

yes, i uploaded the altered constants.php but i didnt run the installer. i'm not sure how to do that. i cant login into my admin panel because the index page of my site is not showing up because of the error. do i have to run installer through ftp or my admin panel?

Go to *yoursite*/index.php, log in as usual and then browse to *yoursite*/install/

What does "the index or home page is not showing up...." mean? Do you have a blank page?

If so, please read Knowledge Base: How to ... get rid of blank pages in forum/portal

Double-check your edits! You missed or misplaced something.

Upload a fresh index.php so you can log in.
