What have you done before the problem was there?

What have you already tryed to solve the problem?
Contacted my hosting provider to get more information and help.

Description and Message
I got the following message from my hosting provider and they requested not to run the script for more than 60 secs
Time: Sat Jul 23 22:17:39 2011 +0200
PID: 8994
Account: *removed this*
Uptime: 65 seconds

Command Line (often faked in exploits):

/usr/bin/php /home/colubrid/public_html/portal.php

Network connections by the process (if any):

tcp: ->

Files open by the process (if any):

Memory maps by the process (if any):

It seems the portal is trying to make a connection to the IP-adres (rDNS = They warned me that this could be a safety leak and advise to set a timeout or a max time of 60 secs for the script to run if an IP- adres is not available.

How can i make this adjustment to the portal?
