opend all the files in the portal directory in dream weaver and closed and saved them....
edited nothing but the setting in dreamweaver saw tags open in most of the files in witch it closed them....so i saved

Bad idea, as the closing tags could be in other templates, which dreamweaver could not see.
Try it again with the original files, otherwise you'll probably run into more problems and this thread will be a never ending story.

if you get a chance take a quick look and see what you think,,,it seems to be working...
but then again iv been looking at it for about 3 days straight with a few hours in between...lol

Well, at least there's a problem with the width of your portal and forum.

Both are touching the screen's edge on the left and right. There should be a margin of a few millimeters ...

I guess this is a result of manually closing tags which are closed by another file ...

ok went back and re-uploaded all the files and it seems the only issue im having is with the poll on the front page?
keeps wanting to show >
and insted of a popup text showing you voted for this on it shows as code/text above the poll bar

any ideas there?
