Ah!!! That's where the problem was - I did add the code as instructed; however, install.xml tells you to find the following:
$user->add_lang(array('mods/lang_portal', 'mods/additional_blocks'));
if (!function_exists('obtain_portal_config'))
{
include($phpbb_root_path . 'portal/includes ...

Hey i have installed the module and have done all the steps needed to have the blocks shown on all forum pages... but nothing happens :o did i miss something? :oops:
