If your in the forum and click the logo in the header it links to the forum not the portal.
Same when in portal, the header logo links to the forum.

You can add as many custom blocks as you want to the portal. You can choose if you want to use HTML or BBCode. Thanks for the reply Marc, but not very helpful.
