Yeah, I added a text sitemap to GWMT, pointing to /index.php. The bots are now crawling through all the topics (yahoo included) I'd say it wasn't the sitemap on WebMaster Tools that fixed it but rather letting it go for a few hours after some permission problems were sorted.

Yes! You are correct, removing that from the post fixed the problem with the news block in full mode. I never thought to check that. It is just some custom BBCode in the ACP. I have the problem with both IE6 and IE tab in FF. Setting the blocks to 205 fixes it, but for someone reading the portal on a small res (1024x768) the side blocks look to wide. I use 1280x1024 and they look too big. I hope there is a fix for this soon. Thanks for the help.
