its been suggested multiple times at phpbb no one does it

im posting here because i want to use this portals blocks

I want to get the Recent members and top posters on my forum index
so i can kind of get this effect

ok i got it i needed to make my line look like this

i was wondering if its possible to install it in the root of your site so when you go to
www.whatever.com/
you get the portal but then when you go to
www.whatever.com/forums/
you get the fourms

ive been wanting to do this aswell

How can i make it so that instead of using the overallheader.html file for the header
it uses this nav bar
http://www.ultimate-ipod.com/forums/styles/X-i-Tunes/template/spacer.htm

note that is my site

i tried just using <!-- include spacer.htm --> but that didnt work :(

i was looking in the ACP and i noticed their was not catagory for the middle




What files do i edit to change the middle colum

1) How do i detatch from the overall header (i want to include a file called portal header (assumming its in the same folder as overall header how would i do that)
2) How can i switch the login panel and the menu panels sides.



if you can answer either of those questions i will be forever great ...
