did you use the automatic updater? did you have any conflicting files?

Kevin is correct, I updated my board without any problems at all

the way I do it is simply hover your mouse pointer over the forum and look at the bottom of your browser and it will tell you, for example, this forum(board3 portal-enlish support) is forum #10, so if I wanted to exclude this forum from appearing on the portal, I would enter 10 in the exclude forum ...

go to your portal settings in your ACP, click on recent topic settings. look for exclude forum ID on the right, enter the private forum id, click submit, problem solved.

Thanks alot for the code guys, it works great! I changed the output from 5 to 3 so it doesn't take up too much space on my portal.

Mike is correct, changing it in the ACP is only half the battle, you then have to go into your user control panel and change it there, it should display properly then. make sure you also initiate the daylight savings time

I made the change to my board last thursday and have remained logged in since then so It's safe to say the fix worked and this issue has been resolved.

it's very easy, just place the "install" folder in your root, then with your browser, point to http://www.yoursite.com/install and follow the onscreen directions

I un-installed my portal, then re-installed it, still no change, I'm running out of ideas

I don't think a site re-do is necessary at all, there has to be a fix, we just haven't found it yet.

I went into my cache folder via FTP and manually deleted everything but my index file and .htaccess file in hopes of finding a fix, but no, still the same problem...

I agree that the problem is strange in that it's only happening to a handful of people, the two boards you have, one is fine and the other has the issue is a good example of how strange the issue is.
