I think now i'm facing the same problem, strange it didn't happened to me before. I have noticed it today while i'm fetching my board. So I think that the development team will response with a solution.

this problem still seems to be common for other people, so I hope a definitive answer comes up here, I'm waiting to upgrade until the problem is solved also for all the other people posting about it in here (Mike, Flattop, dudenell) and over at phpbb.com Nahh, can't be now it's working fine with me...

I'm still configuring the board (with some various mods), so i recently change my host. Then again i forgot to change my cookie settings which is my old domain name to the new domain so when i changed it to the new domain name it worked. That's what i did.

I have checked all of my modification edit they all are fine, what else can i do to avoid this, and like to know is this a server issue ...

Strange, all functions.php seem to be ok and i cant reproduce this error - can you, here aboard? Additionally: the portal doesnt change anything to the login system. have you all adviced your users, to delete the cookies and re-login? This might be the problem. Hmm I'm also working on this, I think...
