Loving Board 3 Portal... ;)
and I want to be able to prevent posts being made on our Advertising section of our phpBB forum being listed in the Portal >> Latest News section.
I know there is an option in ACP >> Forums >> Advertising to Display on Recent Topics, but no switch for Latest News ...

I understand that... just wondered if anyone else here has experienced the same and managed to resolve in anyway?

We tried but we received the following error messages after updating Recent Topics extension.

Just to confirm, if I want the Portal page to be the main homepage I do the following:

ftp to forum root dir [where app.php resides]
download .htaccess file
open .htaccess with TextPad and add at the following text to the bottom of the file
