Fixed. I had to go into the system => Administartor Control PAnel and readded the modules individually. All is back to normal. Not sure why they left in th efirst place.

WOW... Figured this one out I think... I renamed the directory by adding characters to the end of the "install_portal" folder name. Apparently the portal.php still parsed out the original name form it. Once I added the additional characters to the front of the folder name, SQL error went a...
