i look on this and when i update functions.php i see:

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

i have a problem when i update function.php in portal folder...

I dont see this option in 1.0.0 portal version, Just see this screen please:

Sort in order to the newest posts:
When activated, the newest will be sorted in order to the newest posts. When deactivated, the news will be sorted in order to the newest topic.

man when i change this option i see in portal only posts... this is not sorting...

its possible... changing template (menu_block)... xP paste codes to images and in image html tags paste links... its easy to work

i dont have many time but you must change news template and in template change default title to title in the newsrow (in news row is topic title and copy & paste it in <th> tags in and when its not working paste up starting newsrow line
